And now you can also add your certificate to your LinkedIn profile to highlight your expertise.
Here are 8 easy steps to add your course certificate to your LinkedIn profile:
Step 1: Sign in to your LinkedIn account.
Step 2: Click on the “Me” icon just below your profile photo and click “View Profile” in the drop-down menu.
Step 3: If you already have the “Licenses and Certifications” section on your profile, click on the “+” to add a new certification.
- If you have never added a certification, go to the top of your profile page, click the “Add profile section” button.
- When the “Add to profile” pop-up menu appears, click the drop-down arrow next to “Recommended” and select “Add licenses & certifications”.
Step 4: Enter the certification name in the required name field.
Step 5: In the “issuing organization” field, start typing “Marketing Syrup” and “Marketing Syrup SEO Academy” will appear. Select this LinkedIn page so the logo will appear next to the certification.
Step 6: Fill in the remaining relevant fields for your profile. *Be sure to leave the expiration fields blank as this certification does not expire.
Step 7: If you have your certificate uploaded to your Google Drive, paste the link in the “Credential URL” field to showcase your actual certificate. This will allow users to view the certificate if they’d like.
Step 8: Once all sections have been filled out, click “Save” and your certification will be posted to your profile.
Congrats! You have highlighted your certificate on your LinkedIn profile!
