In fact, many JS frameworks can harm SEO if they’re implemented without SEO considerations. Here’s a wild example I’ve seen:
All traffic is dead after a website has switched to a JS framework. This disaster would not happen if a knowledgeable SEO was in the loop.
As an SEO, you should be able to catch these things quickly. But it can be challenging: after all, you’re not a developer, and it can feel so intimidating to look at the code and try to guess what went wrong there.
You Don’t Need to Become a Developer to Succeed in SEO
As SEOs, we’re supposed to be great content creators, writers, PR specialists and developers. There are just too many things that can make you stretch yourself thin and feel like a total imposter. I get it.

Advanced JavaScript SEO Workshop Flow
The Workshop will consist of 4 main parts:
Part 1: HTML + JavaScript Tale (Theoretical Part)

I want to make sure that you’ll walk away with a full picture. So in this part, I’ll explain what HTML and JavaScript are, how they are different. We’ll also talk about how Google treats JavaScript through crawling and indexing and how it’s related to paper books.
Part 2: JavaScript Issues (Theoretical Part)

Here we’ll go deeper and talk about potential issues that JavaScript can cause for an SEO campaign. A spoiler alert: not all fancy websites rank well. You’ll see the why’s behind it.
Part 3: JavaScript SEO Best Practices (Theoretical Part)
Duration ~40 mins
In order to know how things should not be done, you need to understand the right way of doing them first. That’s why I’ll explain and show you how JavaScript should be used not to harm search visibility.
Part 4: JavaScript Debugging (Practical Part)
Duration ~30
At this point, you’ll be ready to dive right into debugging JavaScript issues that are hurting SEO. I’ll show you the tools and processes first so that you can use them yourself. I’ll give you a few tasks that you’ll be doing right at the workshop so that you’ll be able to practice what you’ve learned.
